One thing I have learned is never to leave my camera at home. When I do, I usually come across a once-and-a-lifetime shot that will haunt me for days on end. Coming home from San Francisco late one night provided me with one of those shots. Just a brief detour brought me to this vantage point—one of the most iconic of all the vistas of the Golden Gate Bridge—and I snapped a few very long exposures. This one was my favorite.
